I love technology, love thinking about the future, how we will live, work, and interact, and planning for what is to come. When I\'m not working, I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family, reading, playing golf, and watching soccer. I represent corporate defendants in product liability, toxic tort, fraud, and commercial disputes. I primarily work with large companies in the energy, pharmaceutical, automotive, and logistics industries. Some notable representations have included:• Representing a global life sciences company overcome claims that one of its product causes cancer. I co-lead a team of over 75 professionals that has successfully defended over cases, including seven completed trials in \"judicial hellhole\" jurisdictions without an adverse verdict.• Representing a global manufacturer against claims related to PFAS contamination and exposure.• Representing a global energy company against allegations of False Claims Act violations arising out of the operation of service stations. I am responsible for managing a coordinated defense against government investigations in more than 20 states. • Along with King & Spalding partners Chilton Varner & Andrew Bayman, I helped to obtain a complete defense verdict for Merck in a bellwether trial alleging the Merck osteoporosis drug Fosamax caused the plaintiff’s atypical femur fracture. This was the first trial before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey in multidistrict litigation involving Fosamax and alleging “atypical femur fractures.” After a three-week trial and only 75 minutes of deliberation, the jury determined the plaintiff did not sustain an atypical femur fracture. The court then granted Merck judgment on federal-preemption grounds, Glynn v. Merck & Co, 951 F. Supp. 2d 695 (D.N.J. 2013), a ruling the court extended to over 600 cases. In re Fosamax Prods. Liab. Litig, 2014 WL 12•••94 (D.N.J. Mar.
