Python / Rust / Ruby on Rails / Next.js / React My first year of university, I pitched a security startup with some high school programming knowledge, passion, and a plan. Sort of. This startup idea was for a tool that would hack hackers back. Now that I have 5+ years of security knowledge under my belt, I know that idea was absurd. Even so, it got me started down a path that would take me to CTFs around the world, meeting people in security from all walks of life, and learning how to get applications truly locked down as much as breaking them wide open.
