Robert Astroff is the president of Astroff Consultants Inc. Dr. Astroff received a Bachelor of Arts with Great Distinction from McGill University, a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University, a Master of Arts from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto.Dr. Astroff’s expertise covers a broad range of program areas, including applications to medical, law, dental and business schools, as well as graduate and undergraduate programs in Canada, the United States, and overseas. He has assisted thousands of applicants, in Canada and abroad to achieve their post-secondary educational and professional goals.Author of the Accepted With Astroff series, Dr. Astroff provides students with a step-by-step guide to professional school admission.Dr. Astroff has lectured on the admissions process at private schools and universities across Canada, including McGill University, the University of Toronto, Western University, University of British Columbia and Dalhousie University. He has been featured in Maclean\'s, the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, the National Post, as well as other radio and media outlets. Prior to founding Astroff Consultants in 2007, Dr. Astroff worked as an educator at the University of Toronto and Carleton University and held positions with a number of governmental institutions and international organizations including the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, the Israeli Ministry of Justice, the Knesset, and the United Nations.Dr. Astroff has been published in a number of scholarly journals, including the Journal of Environmental Law and Practice, the Health Law Review, the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, and the Dalhousie Journal of Legal Studies. His work also appears in a publication entitled Twisting Arms and Flexing Muscles: Humanitarian Intervention and Peacebuilding in Perspective, where he contributed a chapter to the book.The recipient of numerous honours and accolades, Dr. Astroff has been awarded a University of Toronto Fellowship, the Rabin Scholarship for the Advancement of Peace and Tolerance, a Lady Davis Doctoral Fellowship, and the Keyser Mason Ball Prize for excellence in legal writing. In recognition of his contributions to the field of education, Dr. Astroff was awarded honorary membership by the Golden Key International Honors Society.
