ABOUT ROBERTA ROBERTO

PhD in Energy Engineering – Counselor – Performer I work as a researcher and project manager in ENEA. My current research topics are: energy systems, energy communities, environmental and socio-economic impacts of smart-working, low-carbon energy transition, bioenergy, energy planning and implementation strategies. I am involved in technical assistance projects for the EU support program on energy efficiency and renewables, in EU research projects on local energy communities, and in national activities on the impacts of smart working. Whilst my professional role relies heavily on my technical skills and qualifications, I also possess a range of soft skills which I further developed through my passion for creative approaches, communication and social sciences. In 2019 I completed a 3-year course in Counselling, deepening counselling tools and communication and self-expression techniques through experiential and artistic active-learning methods. I\'m interested in transferring these skills to decision-making processes, team-building and other business situations. I am a PT performer, member of Italian and international theatre companies. I am a Leadership graduate (Level 4) at the Centre for Playback Theatre of New York. I perform in live and online performances and lead workshops and seminars using improvisation techniques and active methods. I am a non-professional photographer, I have exhibited in some Italian cities. I have a few ongoing projects exploring the themes of connection, depression and limits through hybrid photography and self-portrait.
