About Roberta Marongiu
With strong expertise in neurobiology, neuropharmacology, cellular and molecular biology, genetics and gene therapy, my lab focuses on understanding how biological sex and menopause shape brain disorders like Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Using cutting-edge genetic, viral, and animal model approaches may lab seeks to uncover the molecular mechanisms that drive disease progression and therapeutic responses. I value - and am committed to advancing rigorous science at competitive budgets. As a, I believe in fostering inclusive, positive, and respectful environments that inspire creativity and growth. Beyond the lab, I am also a strong advocate for exercise and healthy living as pillars of brain health. I am, Inc. non-profit organization that brings innovative exercise and complementary programs to empower people living with Parkinson\'s disease.
