I am a senior technical architect who is as adept at writing code as I am leading teams of developers through large projects. Over my 15+ year career I have covered the gamut of web and software development and pride myself on coming up very quickly on any new technology put in front of me.Until recently, I led web development for Infocomm International, an international trade association focused on professional AV industry. In this role I managed a long list of web development projects, including the main association website While I always did a large part of the actual development, I also hired, trained and led a team of developers that created a core for many successes over the years. I have a proven track record as a keen researcher of technology and have successfully chosen tech solutions and paths for many businesses over the years.Coworkers would describe me as a highly versatile developer who can come up to speed on any technology quickly. I consider myself an accomplished mentor as a manager, utilizing the strengths of team members while helping them learn and develop their skill set along the way, I have successfully worked remotely for the last 15 years and I am intimately familiar with the best ways to stay in the loop with a dispersed team. While I have had to take on many projects solo over the years, I relish the opportunity to work with a team with an eye on keeping them a focused cohesive unit. I have degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa. An avid cyclist, I compete in many endurance events all over the country.
