Senior Fabric Specialist for Marciano lines,(Womenswear and menswear)Strong cooperation with designers in terms ofResearching and development of fabrics for Guess Jeans and Guess by Marciano Man and Woman (total look)Fabrics: woven (yarn dyed / fabric dyed), knit (jersey / interlock), printing (rotary, digital, transfer);Fabric suppliers / mills contacts-collaboration: Chinese, Korean, Japonese, Turkish, Italian (Asian mills and European mills)Visit to Textiles fairs: Milano Unica, Munich Fabric Start, Premier Vision, Texworld (Paris). Meet fabric suppliers also in-house;SMS: follow up from the beginning of the collection (trials / strike off / lapdip of fabrics, colors, finishing ) to the receipt of the SMS goods/sending of the rolls to the vendors;Bulk: production control, resolution of quality problems (weaving issues, colors issues, hand feel issues). Collaboration with QC depart and compliance testing depart.Creation fabric files for Clo per the 3D project.First step: scans and adjustments of front of fabrics (working on texture definition and repeat creation), in order to get visual properties of the item (using Vizoo scanner machine).Second step: knowledge and using of fabric kit, to obtain the physical properties of fabric (weight, stretch ability, reaction of warp, weft and oblique).
