ABOUT ROBERTA MAIELLO

I earned my Bachelor\'s degree in Banking, Finance, and Financial Markets from the University of Pisa in 2019. Following that, I pursued a Master\'s in Administration, Finance, and Control at Luiss. Most recently, I graduated with honors (110 cum laude) from the Specialized Master Degree program in Economics and Management, with a focus on Innovation and Sustainability, at the University of Rome Unitelma Sapienza. In 2020, I joined KPMG S.p.A. in the audit team, gaining experience in auditing both Italian listed and non-listed groups and companies, as well as in analyzing and testing internal processes and controls. In 2022, I transitioned to KPMG\'s ESG Assurance Unit, where I have been able to further develop my expertise, knowledge, and technical skills in the field of corporate sustainability projects, ESG assurance, and supporting the preparation of sustainability reporting for various clients, including Enel, Ferrovie, Leonardo and Tinexta. As a member of the International Standard Group (ISG) team within KPMG UK, my role is contribute to shaping KPMG’s approach to ESRS standards, supporting technical consultations and collaborating across teams to ensure consistency in our professional approach.
