Product Councils play a key role in ULI’s mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land and creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. As a Commercial & Retail Development (CRC) Council Member, the mission is to explore and debate best practices, lessons learned and current trends in the development and ownership of commercial retail properties in the United States. Property types include regional malls, grocery anchored shopping centers, big-box retail, outlet or lifestyle centers and urban, street retail projects. Mixed-use projects which include retail as a substantial component will also be considered as well as entertainment/tourism retail properties.
