ABOUT ROBERTA GRECO

She is Research Fellow in International Law and practicing lawyer specialized in litigating cases before the European Court of Human Rights. She holds a Ph.D. in International Law (European Label, summa cum laude) from the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’. In 2013 she was boursière d’excellence at the Platform for International Water Law of the University of Geneva and visiting scholar at the IHP-HELP Centre for Water Law, Policy and Science of the University of Dundee. Her publications include articles on the human right to water, the protection against torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, and the relations between the European Court of Human Rights and domestic courts. Laureata nel 2004 in Scienze politiche – indirizzo internazionale (v.o.) presso la Libera Università degli Studi di Roma LUMSA, con votazione 110/110 e lode, e nel 2008 in Giurisprudenza presso l’Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata”. Nel 2014 ha conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca in Diritto pubblico – indirizzo internazionalistico presso l’Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata”, con modalità European Label e valutazione finale di eccellente con lode. Vincitrice, a settembre 2014, del bando per l’insegnamento di International Law presso l’Università degli Studi La Tuscia. Visiting Scholar nel 2012 e 2013 presso l’ IHP-HELP Centre for Water Law, Policy and Science (under the auspices of Unesco), dell’ Università di Dundee (Scozia) e, nel 2013, Boursière d’excellence dell’ Università di Ginevra. Nel 20••••16 è stata assegnista di ricerca di Diritto internazionale presso la Libera Università degli Studi di Roma LUMSA dove è attualmente docente a contratto di Diritto internazionale. Avvocato specializzato nella trattazione dei ricorsi presso la Corte europea dei diritti dell’uomo. Autrice di alcuni articoli e commenti in diritto internazionale e dei diritti umani.
