About Robert Zubeck

I am currently a Regional Vice President in the International Business and Strategic Development (ISD) team at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. I also currently serve as the Executive Officer for the reserve component of TACRON 11. Before this current role, I worked numerous positions in our ISD Team as Technical Manager and Regional Director. Prior to joining ISD I worked as a Project Control Engineer in the Mechanical Engineering Department for General Atomics for a little over 2 years where I was the Mechanical Engineering Platform Lead for the MQ-9B SkyGuardian/PROTECTOR platform. Prior to General Atomics, I served on active duty for nearly eleven years in the US Navy. My last active duty position was as a designated Naval Aviator aboard the USS AMERICA (LHA-6) in the Air Department. Previously, I served as an Instructor Pilot, Program Manager for the entire fleet of H-60F/H aircraft, Public Affairs Officer, Assistant Operations Officer and Command Security Manager at the Fleet Replacement Squadron, HSC-3. My fleet tour was as a “Nightdipper” assigned to HS-5 where I completed two deployments on USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69). I have a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, an M.A in International Relations from the University of San Diego and an MBA from Pepperdine University with a concentration in Finance.
