About Robert Z.
There is little in the Mazak language I cant figure out. I am very experienced on a lathe and a mill, program through inspection. I have managed both 1st and 2nd shifts in the past. I have headed up maintenance dept. in the shop, along with being a Tooling Engineer. I am constantly looking for the next great thing, Improving everyday, making things better and faster. A jack of all trades master of some one could say. Along with process improvement I had worked with the design engineer, creating and developing new parts for the firearm industry. I prototype new parts and evolve the models and prints as needed. I have worked closely with the Quality lab to make sure that the parts we make are the best they can be. I want our parts to stay in the US for obvious reasons. I was trained by what I refer to as a dying breed, the old school toolmakers. The kinds of guys that could make anything from anything just by a thought. I take the knowledge of the past and blend it with the technology of the future.
