   Assist in leading a team of over 300 Senior Enlisted Trainer/Evaluators tasked with training and ultimately certifying all ships as they progress through their Basic Phase (BP) of training• Periodically review and update all official instructions and guidelines governing how ships properly train and certify their individual warfare areas• Conduct training data analysis utilizing the Training and Operational Readiness Information Services (TORIS) and Training Figure of Merit (TFOM) databases to support training data calls and requests from Senior Navy Leadership• Develop, collect, monitor, and analyze Unit Level Training (ULT) metrics and apply problem solving skills and Lean Six Sigma methodology to develop strategies to improve the overall training and evaluation of U.S. Navy ships• Routinely provide recommendations (based on training trend analysis) to both internal and external decision makers on the overall readiness and ability of ships to complete their Basic Phase of training in preparation for mission essential tasking• Coordinate, conduct, and standardize classroom training in support of the Training Officer Course (TOC) to include curriculum design and delivery • Provide Battle Lab support to include developing and executing the Fleet Synthetic Training - Unit (FST-U) scenario timelines and filling the role as the Battle Force Commander during the scenario thus providing the ship with a realistic path of communications to forward tactical reports and weapon engagements• Attend quarterly Commander Task Force (CTF) 80 scheduling conferences in Norfolk, VA• Manage a team of 4 contract specialists in the execution of the Fleet Deployment Program Training Support (FDTPS) contract• Responsible for planning all work to be accomplished by FDTPS contract personnel to include setting and adjusting short-term priorities while considering the difficulty and requirements of the assignments and capability of team members
