He also contributes to the Economist Intelligence Unit\'s risk analysis portfolio, preparing monthly reports for the Latin American region as a whole.Robert has an academic background in the politics and economic development of Latin America, and holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Bristol and a Masters degree in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. Before joining the Economist Intelligence Unit in 1997, Robert conducted consultancies for the European Commission and previously worked for a development-oriented NGO in Mexico.
