Founded Cougar Energy LLC and active in the upstream oil and gas sector in the US, Mexico, Latin America and Africa, developing upstream E&P assets, gas processing, GTL, midstream, refining, and LNG. Four decades of diverse technical and managerial background in upstream petroleum engineering operations including drilling, completions, workovers, production and facilities engineering, onshore and offshore, as well as significant experience in business development and sales in the service sector. Prior to Cougar I co-founded an offshore US GOM E&P company and built and managed this startup as President & COO, acquiring an asset from Exxon Mobil which included a 30 slot, BOPD fixed platform in 760 ft of water, 150 mi SSW of New Orleans. Conducted a major platform topsides refurbishment, mobilized a platform rig, doubled production twice and sold the company in 2018.
