Entrepreneur, innovator, and builder with a dynamic career spanning investment banking, craft brewing, emerging technology, and mobile applications.I began my career with over nine years in the investment banking and brokerage industry before launching Independence Brewing Company, the first production microbrewery in Philadelphia in the mid-1990s. Over six years, we grew the company into a publicly traded NASDAQ business, distributing award-winning beers across the Mid-Atlantic. Our beers earned 3 GABF medals, 3 World Beer Cups, 7 World Beer Championships, and 11 ADDY Awards, reflecting both product excellence and creative branding.I later transitioned into the technology space, leading New Business Development at Connexus Inc, a Berwyn, PA-based company that held early patents in audio recognition technology—technology that predated platforms like Shazam. We developed tools that enabled real-time identification of songs and artists, ultimately leading to the acquisition of our technology by MediaGuide to support royalty tracking for artists and songwriters.I also hold a U.S. patent for a Universal Savings ID—a machine-readable code (QR, barcode, RFID, etc.) that allows consumers to access and apply savings across unrelated retailers, creating a seamless and efficient savings experience.Currently, I’m focused on the mobile app space, building platforms that drive value for brands, partners, and consumers alike.
