ABOUT ROBERT VESTY
I am Senior Lecturer in Theatre and Programme Leader of the MA in Professional Arts Practice in the School of Arts at Middlesex University where I also co-chair the LGBT+ Network. I specialise in movement for performers. I have also been a long-term visiting lecturer at Central School of Speech and Drama, teaching movement on the Collaborative Devised Theatre course. I have also worked with Queen Mary University London and Kent University. I completed my doctorate at Royal Holloway University London, which looked at the role of voice in dance improvisation. Underpinning my pedagogic practice is a background and continued practice in performance. I am also a Feldenkrais Practitioner. I continue independent performance practice, working on various projects with choreographers/directors as well as working with a five-person stable of dance-artists called anthologyofamess.
