ABOUT ROBERT VATCHER
I am a lifelong learner, always excited to meet new people and learn about them, which has served me well in sourcing and recruiting over the years. Every call, every search is an opportunity to geek out about something new and learn about someone’s journey! For some background on me: I spent the first part of my career in a start up firm, helping tech startups scale their teams as they grew. Learning about all the growth pains that come along with it! As well as the importance of developing an employer brand at such an early stage. We ran a tight ship, with 90% acceptance rate, through strong relationships with clients and candidates. Now I work with Calian Advance technologies, putting those skills to use for clients like Deloitte, Department of National Defence, and Government of Canada. Finding those one of a kind talents, and continuing to connect people and build those relationships. I have also founded Vatcher Growth Partners, where we are helping Small businesses throughout their growth phases, developing sales and recruiting pipelines, helping them find those key hires to make the next steps in their journey, and coaching Entrepreneurs along the way. I have also been proud to give back to my community as a mentor for the past 2 years in the CGLCC, Mentoring Entrepreneurs as they build their businesses and organizations.
