About Robert Trifone

Rob Trifone has been teaching and coaching for 40 years. He currently teaches Biology and Marine Biology at Darien High School. He has been SCUBA diving and taking underwater photographs for the past 30 years and has developed field study courses (Project TIME) during which he was able to take students on a week long field investigation in various tropical environments following a 10 week evening course. He is a member of \"Who\'s Who\" in Science education as well as a participate in the Connecticut PIMMS program to promote excellence in science education.As a coach, Rob has compiled a career record of 25•••••51 Winning percentage) as a head coach both at Brien McMahon in Norwalk and now Darien High School. Coach Trifone has won 10 divisional titles, 6 league titles, 4 State championships as well as being a finalist in 4 other state championships. He has been awarded Coach of the Year honors 16 times in his career.
