ABOUT ROBERT TREY WEATHERFORD
Trey is an Audit Partner out of KPMG’s Houston office with a strong background in providing accounting, internal control, and business advice to publicly-traded and privately held domestic and international companies. He is an experienced member of KPMG’s Energy & Natural Resources and Engineering & Construction practices and has completed a 3-year rotation in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (“DPP”) in New York. He also serves as a National Instructor, Audit Quality Support Partner, and Leases Champion.As part of Trey’s DPP rotation, he was responsible for consulting with companies and engagement teams on complex accounting, auditing and reporting matters. He was a key contributor with respect to evaluating the impacts of Topics 606 and 842 on the energy industry and continues to be part of KPMG’s Revenue Recognition and Leases networks to this day.
