I work in three-dimensions using forms, ideas, and materials that reflect my interest in the nature of art and the mechanisms by which we recognize art objects. In my most recent work I use industrial-grade materials selected for their color, plasticity and structural properties. Physically, the works are organized as a subtle interplay of classical formalism and expressive gesture. The content emerges from a contemplation of art historical, mythological, and scientific ideas.
