   I help companies position, bid and win large complex government contracts, having won more than $145 billion in projects for clients (more than $100 billion since I have worked on more than 275 proposal across a diverse set of federal, state and international customers. My background encompasses the full range of business development activities, including proposal and capture management, business development management, proposal writing, technical leadership, management approaches, production and orals coaching. I have spent most of the last 25 years supporting business development, but also worked in short periods delivering critical products for government customers, including technical reports, fee plans, funding request packages, root cause investigations, schedules and technical briefings for government officials and members of Congress.The early years of my career were spent in nuclear manufacturing as an engineer and manager responsible for hardware development and manufacture, product R&D, application of basic research, quality assurance and vendor oversight. I have been a member of ASME for 34 years; Who\'s Who in American Businesses; Boy Scout counselor for 8 years; 2013 June McLean award for contributions to Lynchburg Aquatics League with 13 years as a swim judge and 11 years as a referee, and guest lecturer at Sweet Briar College.
