We enable growth of product selection available to Amazon’s customers globally and continuously improve product data to drive world class customer experience. We do this at scale by developing state of the art systems, science and processes. We are motivated by customer impact and energized by innovation in solving big scale engineering challenges. At our scale there are no textbook answers - we manage billions of records, process millions of transactions per second, run tens of thousands machine learning models, work across dozens of languages. We develop and run systems including APIs, data storage, streaming pipelines, services, algorithms, models, analytics and tools for enriching product data and growing breadth of product selection. Technologies we work with include big data, machine learning, distributed services and elastic computing. We are looking for talented people in Seattle, Sunnyvale, New York, Vancouver BC, London, Edinburgh, Munich, Bratislava, Bangalore, Chennai and Sapporo – developers, applied scientists, software development managers, ontologists, program and product managers, support engineers, operations managers, catalog specialists and translation associates.
