ABOUT ROBERT TAYLOR

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.\" John 14:6 I have been working with computers and programming since 1978. I took Fortran 77 in University in 1982. In the late 1980s I purchased my first IBM PC compatible computer and quickly realized that I had a knack for fixing PC hardware and software. In 1989 I taught myself Turbo Pascal and Turbo Assembler. In the early 1990s I wrote some useful Assembly language programs including tools to convert the Alberta gun registry data into a format that was compatible with the national gun registry. I had a part time business repairing PCs and troubleshooting printing issues as well as doing occasional data recovery from corrupted floppy disks etc. Then in 1996 I started working full time in IT as a Novell Network Administrator. By I had completed the Novell CNE certification. Fast forward to now. I am a member of an information security (cyber security) team and working primarily in Vulnerability Management.
