ABOUT ROBERT TAYLOR

With over ten years of experience in the financial services sector, I am a Associate Vice President at The Carlyle Group, one of the world\'s largest and most successful investment firms. I am passionate about delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for the UK and MENA entities, as well as supporting the strategic growth and development of the business. I am also an ICAEW qualified accountant, with a strong academic background in mathematics and finance.As an AVP, I am responsible for preparing and reviewing the monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reports for the UK and MENA entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP, and FCA rules. I also manage and coordinate the audit process, liaising with external auditors and stakeholders. Additionally, I prepare the budgeting and forecasting reports, and provide insights and recommendations to the senior management. I leverage my skills in financial accounting, management accounting, and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of the financial information.
