I am currently working as a Senior AI Privacy Specialist at Amazon in Austin, Texas. In my career I have gained experience in a wide range of projects including the design, implementation, and management of data privacy programs, data governance consulting, SOC 2 readiness assessments, PCI DSS assessments, and other outsourced internal audit services. These experiences include serving both private and public clients of all sizes in various industries, including Outdoor Recreation, Healthcare, Telecom, Oil and Gas, Banking, Higher Education, and Professional Services. I have served as both operational and advisory support for clients building programs to strengthen compliance with GDPR, CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA, HIPAA, and other emerging laws and regulations. I also served as a lead implementation consultant partnering with privacy, security, and governance software OneTrust. I served on the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) advisory board and was a team lead developing the NIST Privacy Framework. I am a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Professional US (CIPPUS), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP), and hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University.
