Funds raised for 9 new faculty endowments, a new campus building (opened 2022), annual support for thousands of students to make an impact, an institute endowment, and a campus fund. • Do Good alumni (for example) enabled thousands of families to stay safe and avoid hunger during the pandemic, changed mental health accessibility and female menstrual product accessibility on campus, recycled and supplied medications to tens of thousands, and dramatically reduced water pollution. Alumni include: multiple Forbes Top 30 Social Entrepreneurs Under 30, multiple Washington Business Journal Top 25 Innovators Under 25, an Ernst & Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year, and a “Shark Tank” TV Show winner. • 2021 University of Maryland Board of Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Public Service • US News ranked the School of Public Policy\'s Nonprofit Management program as one of the country\'s best (2019, 2021, 2022, 2024). Developed and launched with the Provost (serving as the founding chair) a Do Good Campus Council composed of administrators from schools/colleges, Student Affairs, Athletics.• Inaugural 2017 Voinovich Public Innovation Prize, Network of Schools of Public Policy, Public Affairs, and Public Administration. • 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award, Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.• Recognized as an excellent manager, received campus high score for “trusted to be fair” (2018). • Founding Board Chair of the Food Recovery Network, which UMD students built into a national nonprofit and then launched two successful companies, Hungry Harvest and Imperfect Foods.• MSNBC, Fast Company, Washington Post, NPR, and others feature our research.
