Over 20 years of professional experience, split between private consulting firms (for clients including public agencies, private developers, and universities) and the public sector (at VTA in San Jose).During my undergrad and grad school years, I also worked for shorter periods at a university conservation biology laboratory, at the United States Geological Survey, at a regional planning agency, and at a city planning department.I have Masters degrees in City Planning and Transportation Engineering, a Bachelor\'s degree in Geological & Environmental Sciences, and a Certificate in Transit & Paratransit Management. I am passionate about improving the built form of our cities and our roadways, and I have a keen interest in Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and real estate development in general.
