About Robert Spellman

As a Capital Program Project Manager at Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), I manage complex and high-impact projects that improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the public transportation system in the region. I have over two years of experience in project management and business development in the civil construction and public transportation field, with a Master of Business Administration degree from Temple University. I have successfully managed multiple projects for several major companies and public entities, including City of Baltimore, Exelon, and Baltimore County, delivering quality results on time and within budget. I have also led a QA & QC Task Force to implement new procedures and policies to increase the company\'s overall standard for quality control and documentation. Through systems management and organization I created new processes for company wide development of estimates for long term planning. I am skilled in problem solving, analytical thinking, and communication, and I enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders and teams to achieve common goals and objectives. My mission is to contribute to the development and improvement of the public infrastructure and services that benefit the communities and customers I serve.
