AJS-ISC, Gt Yarmouth & Shell Site Bacton • Dec 2011 - Present Supplying engineering expertise and labour for Integrated Services Contract for North Sea oil & gas Capital (TD) & Maintenance (PD) projects for Shell Onegas, QC Co-ordinator: • Generate and complete Test and Inspection Plans (TIPS) for Fabrication/Installation of piping items for both offshore and onshore projects. • Familiarisation of and review of Technical Requisitions, P & ID drawings, isometric drawings, specifications & ITP’s, thus gaining an understanding of the requirements of packaged equipment.Whilst based at Bacton – I acted as QC focal point liaising with site Superintendent, and Project Engineering Management. • Carrying out surveillance – Part of which was the identification of non-conforming fabrication activities, thus raising non-conformance reports, and pursue through to close out. • Surveillance of Vendor Fabricators – Prepare, Plan and arrange quality process reviews,(2nd Party Audits) including NCR follow ups.• Review vendor Fabrication Data Packs whilst in process and at close out stages.• During surveillances - Ensure that the correct welding procedures are being used, along with appropriately qualified welders. • Check and review material certification is in compliance with relevant standards and Shell requirements.• Ensure vendor is working safely with good housekeeping practices.• Complete all reporting in a timely manner.• Attendance of Planning and Progress meetings as necessary.
