A dynamic and focused executive leader, Lean Six Sigma facilitator and educator. With more than 20 years of leadership experience and progressively advancing healthcare roles. I have developed and built capacity throughout organizations by enabling teams to accomplish their goals. I believe that success is driven by building robust processes with clear expectations, enabling teams, providing people with the tools to solve complex problems, and helping teams understand how their work impacts the overall system. Edward Deming said, “It is not enough to do your best; you must know what to do, and then do your best.” To accomplish our goals we must set clear objectives, then seek to continuously improve ourselves, our teams, and our processes.Some of my experiences include-Proven track record of execution of large scale cost-saving and revenue generating initiatives-Management responsibility for a continuous improvement portfolio that expands across clinical, research, and education missions as well as corporate services and operations -Oversight of Lean Management group; 12 Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and 3 support staff-Developed an organizational Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program that has trained over 200 independent Lean practitioners and significantly impacted organizational quality, safety, cost, delivery time, patient experience, and morale-Overall responsibility for a $30m operating and salary budget -FTE oversight of 150 frontline, 7 Director and manager direct reports -Regional Staff development responsibility for peri-operative support staff across 3 hospitals ~500 FTEs-Ability to maneuver through complex political situations effectively with executive presence-Lean Six Sigma Certified Black Belt with extensive facilitation and training experience-Master’s degree in Organization Change Management with certification in PROSCI change methodologyI am honored to have worked with amazing teams and exceptional mentors
