As a Sr. Project Engineering Manager at Amazon, I\'ve been the engineering lead on multiple automation projects with a heavy focus on the deployment of automatic sortation & labelling technologies. This has allowed me to work cross-functionally with the Amazon WW innovations & central engineering teams to quickly introduce new technologies in to the field as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of global standards.I now have 7 years experience in Ecommerce & a further 7 in the FMCG industry, all heavily leaning towards automation & project environments. The majority of my career I\'ve directly controlled annual budgets in excess of £10m and worked on portfolios > £100m. I have managed teams of up to 10 people and have continuously developed and grown my technical knowledge of automation and industrial services.I particularly enjoy leading the introduction of new technologies and processes in to a business; I\'ve led the first fully automated Ecom packing process in M&S while developing 3 years worth of innovation proposals, led the first team to roll out a new Nescafe Gold Blend process and packaging as part of a global Nestle product launch and led a complete new packaging line (for an award winning Nescafe can design) as part of Nestle\'s second largest ever project, i.e. £350m.Any opportunity to improve existing systems either via renovation using methods such as Lean and Six sigma, or via innovation such as the introduction of new technology and systems, is highly likely to grab my attention.
