Developed a simple to use device to monitor people in ambulances and emergency departments for non-convulsive seizures. Obtained FDA 510(k) approval for the Crystal Monitor – Model 16-Principal Investigator, “A New Device for Untethered Home Sleep Studies,\" Phase I SBIR, NINDS, 9/99-9/00. Developed a prototype device to monitor individuals at home for sleep disorders- Program Manager, “Wireless EEG Monitor System,\" SBIR contract, NINDS, 7/97-9/00. Developed an 8-channel wireless EEG machine for detecting non-convulsive seizures. Obtained FDA 510(k) approval for the Crystal EEG – Model 15. Principal Investigator, “Ambulatory Wireless Sleep Monitor,\" Phase I & II SBIR, NHLBI, 9/96-3/01. Developed a wireless sleep monitor that allowed polysomnograms to be collected from untethered patients- Principal Investigator (Ph I)/ Management Sponsor (Ph II),“Portable Wireless Epilepsy EEG Monitor,\" Phase I SBIR, NINDS, 6/96-8/99. Developed an 8-channel wireless EEG machine. Obtained FDA 510(k) approval for the Crystal EEG- Model 10- Principal Investigator (Ph I)/ Management Sponsor (Ph II),\" Miniature Narrow Band Telemetry System for EEG and AER,\" NIMH, 11/95-8/99. Developed the world’s first digital wireless EEG machine.
