I’m a lifelong learner, educator, and technologist with a PhD in Computer Information Systems and 15+ years of experience in software development, mobile engineering, and IT leadership. Early in my career, I served as an Assistant Professor at Mississippi State University, where I taught programming, databases, and security courses—and discovered a deep passion for helping students grow in both skill and confidence. Since then, I’ve spent over a decade leading development teams and building mobile and backend systems in Swift, Kotlin, React, and more. Now serving as an IT Manager, I lead developers, analysts, and sysadmins—introducing modern CI/CD practices, streamlining hiring, and integrating AI tools that improve efficiency while maintaining high standards of engineering integrity. I’m especially passionate about helping students and early-career professionals learn how to use emerging technologies like AI ethically and responsibly.
