   I have conducted over 85 jury trials - everything from homicides to elder abuse. I mentor and train younger lawyers and teach police recruits and existing police officers at the John H. Stamler Police Academy (Courtroom Testimony, Eyewitness Identification and Use of Force). I am certified as an instructor by the Police Training Commission. Since October 2023, I have been assigned to the Grand Jury Unit where my duties include reviewing, preparing, and presenting all types of indictable cases to the Grand Jury. From August 1, 2019, until my present assignment, I was a member of the Special Prosecutions Unit, where my duties include investigating and prosecuting financial/economic crimes, public corruption, election law violations, and internet crimes against children. Since 2016, I have been part of the Office\'s Open Public Records Act response team. From November 1, 2014 to July 31, 2019, I was assigned to the Insurance Fraud Unit. From June 2008 through October 2014 (and November to February 2004), I served in the Trial Team Unit. I managed an extensive case load and prosecuted complex cases including murder, carjacking, robbery and elder abuse. From December 2006 to March 18, 2008, I was assigned to the Homicide Unit where I primarily handled vehicular homicides. I coordinated investigations, obtained warrants and court orders, presented cases to grand jury and prepared and tried cases including vehicular homicides. From July 2005 to December 2006, I supervised the Adult Sex Crimes Unit, handling cases with victims age 13 or older. I performed legal and investigative functions similar to those mentioned above, provided local police with legal investigative guidance and complaint approval, and coordinated our efforts with the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program.From February 2004 to July 2005, I was assigned to the Plainfield Police Division as legal advisor, where I approved search warrant affidavits and screened indictable cases.
