Clinical Associate @Nhs Improvement
Improvement is a very broad term and I see it as not only improving staff, through education and development, but also system improvement. This is something I have focused on throughout my career, from developing majors assessment nurse roles at the Whittington right through to full system development of Rapid Assessment and Treatment, streaming, Same Day Emergency Care, to name a few in the urgent and emergency care field. This led to my current role as a Clinical Associate with the Emergency Care Improvement Support Team (ECIST) at NHS England since 2020. In this role I am fortunate to work with hospital trust’s up and down the country to support their improvement journey and advise clinically on areas where they may want to focus their improvement journey.
