And I will NOT abandon you at the back door of the courtroom as so many attorneys do.I be there for you/with you even after the Judge says you are free to go from her courtroom.For example, in a criminal case (a DUI), the courtroom phase of your case may have ended, but this is just the beginning for you. This is when the real work and confusion begins for you:* Get set up with probation* Get signed up for Public Service* Work with the Division of Motor Vehicles and find out if your driving privileges are being revoked* Get your license back early by installing an interlock system on your car* Understand what a \"one-year, unsupervised probation\" sentence means. for YOU, for YOUR LIFE, for YOUR ability to keep your job.Most attorneys/law firms I see do two things:(1) Charge the client an astronomical fee (some in town are charging upwards of $10k for a first-time DUI! That is highway robbery!), and (2) Abandon the client at the back door of the courtroom, wish the client luck, and leave the client to their own devices to bumble through \"the system.\" For that it is worth, in the four decades I have been practicing law,\"the system\" has grown to gargantuan proportions. Some would say it has become oppressively unworkable for the average person.This WILL NOT happen to you if you retain me, Robert P.
