About Robert Lowe
My research interests lie at the intersection of mechanics, materials, and computational modeling - and their application to practical problems in manufacturing, science, and technology. In concert with our experimental collaborators, my research group at UD uses the principles of continuum mechanics together with novel computational approaches to investigate the deformation and failure of a variety of advanced materials, from soft smart materials to additively manufactured/3D-printed polymers and metals. See our lab website (http://sites.udayton.edu/bams-lab) for more information.
