About Robert Locey

Making use of my vast experience to help others in a meaningful and positive way. Experienced professional with 22+ years of active military service followed by a over ten years of service in County Government in the areas of Juvenile Probation and Adult Community Corrections. Decades of counseling individuals and families in areas of personal and professional growth, Marriage and Family, Child Adolescent Development, Career Advancement, Mentoring, Coaching, etc. Diverse and multi-cultured teams are my normal. Working prior to entering the military from flipping burgers to an apprentice printer to steel construction worker I am no stranger to hard work with a goal of advancing one\'s career. The military provided a context to gain knowledge and wisdom beyond anything I could have garnered staying at home. Having began as a juvenile probation officer after retiring from the military, I quickly rose to supervisor of the department. During this time as officer and supervisor I participated in the state-wide professional association (TJCSA) that helps provide annual training for professionals in every area of juvenile justice from the intake worker to judge. It was my pleasure to be a part of hosting these annual conferences that greatly impacted how we serve our communities. I made a move to the adult side of corrections where I served as the Program Manager. During my brief time with the Department of Corrections we saw an increase in staff and began a wider implementation of expanded monitoring capabilities of offenders and those awaiting trial. The next step in my journey led me into full time ministry with an organization focused on teaching the entirety of Scripture. We were meant to work together to protect and provide for all people as we seek to come together in unity. I believe in working to build a lifestyle that seeks what is best for everyone.
