About Robert Lantz
Mr. Lantz is a Senior Engineer with 32 years of engineering experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment. His experience includes planning, design, construction and business development. He is a member of both WEF Residuals and BIosolids and PFAS Committees and has specific interest and expertise in wastewater residuals management, including master planning, thickening, anaerobic digestion, dewatering and thermal drying. Over the past fifteen years he has been involved in multiple projects in Middle Tennessee Nashville’s Central Biosolids Facility, Dry Creek Facilities improvements, and condition assessment of Central primary and grit handling facilities. He has prepared the Biosolids Master Plan for a prominent Middle Tennessee community and is currently implementing its recommended projects. More recently his interests has included the concern of PFAS in the water and wastewater sectors.

The Zero Liquid Discharge Desalination treatment process includes UF/RO and brine management with thermal evaporators and crystallization.Current design manager of lagoon anaerobic digester cover design including gas venting and digester sludge recirculation system.Current design manager for biosolids improvements including Biosolids dryer, conveyance and dewatering polymer conditioning system.Design manager of solids handling facility for a large Middle Tennessee water utility.
