About Robert L. Kirton Ed. D.
Dr. Robert L. Kirton is an educational consultant, author and U.S. Navy veteran with more than three decades of experience supporting schools and districts. A former professor of educational leadership, executive director of schools, area superintendent, and principal, he helps leaders turn data into measurable results. Dr. Kirton founded a charter school with a 100% Black male graduation academic year, sustained an approximately 95% graduation rate across his career, and secured over $100 million in grants and resources. He is the author of The DNA Blueprint for Educational Leaders. He is the creator of The DNA Framework—Data, Needs, Action—and The BEAST School Climate System—Believe, Expect, Act, Support, Trust. He also is the recipient of the FBI Community Leadership Award for nationally recognized work improving achievement, behavior, and school climate.
