About Kevin Aiken

Currently a third year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I look to expand my knowledge and experience in the field of finance, and advance my technical skills. I started my high school career at Richmond senior, my local high school. I left after my sophomore year to attend the prestigious North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, ranked the number one public high school in the nation by niche.com. I would end up attending UNC Chapel Hill, initially unsure of what I wanted to do. I then found my love and passion for the world of finance and economics through keeping up with the daily news and global politics/economics. To me, it seemed all aspects of modern daily life have at least one connection to the world of finance, and money is how the world works. I have spoken with many professionals, from financial advisor to investment banker to accountant, about their careers. I have yet to meet a person that said that they were dissatisfied with their career and wish they did something else. I am an avid gym goer and runner, and love to play and watch sports. In my free time I like to read, play intermural sports, hang out with friends, and improve my daily habits. Habit structure is crucial for success and is something that I look to constantly improve.
