ABOUT ROBERT K.
As an Artificial Intelligence specialist, I apply my academic background in the Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) to address societal challenges and promote ethical advancements in technology. Beyond my undergraduate PPE degree, my honours research was completed with distinction and explored the moral impact of autonomous care robots while proposing a novel approach to their introduction into the healthcare space. I also hold a Master of Philosophy degree in AI from the University of York, where my research explored the impact of Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems. My research skills are complemented by my professional experiences as a content manager and creator for Young Global Thinker, an NGO that empowers young individuals globally, and as a philosophy tutor and teaching assistant at the University of Pretoria.
