My passion is empowering others to achieve their personal and professional goals through learning, development, and mentorship. I provide strategic direction and coaching to teams, contributing to the growth and development of internal team members by sharing new learning techniques and best practices. Through developing and nurturing collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, I support functional and technical training requirements of business lines, which included Safety, IT, HR, and profit centers. Empowering teams and driving change are hallmarks of my career. Beginning with my eight years in the US Navy Submarine Force, I have been involved with creating content and managing educational success. I now infuse innovative learning solutions with best practices and lessons learned though project management, occupational safety, nuclear plant engineering, nuclear licensing, and safety analysis. I connect with workers, collaborate with managers, and provide insight to Senior Staff in a real, meaningful way. Recently, I managed all aspects of technical training and onboarding for a nuclear manufacturing facility with 2500+ employees; including learning management systems (LMS), instructional designers, on the job training, and feedback mechanisms. My role as the Global PSG Sr. Mgr, PM Training for Thermo Fisher Scientific allows me to continue my personal growth in the field as well as help develop some of the finest minds in the Pharma industry. My expertise includes onboarding, technical training, professional development, instructional design, project management, safety management, change management, regulatory compliance, and communication. I have led management, safety, and technical training teams across multiple facilities, grounded in applying fundamentals such as adult learning principles, proper timing and delivery, and the level of detail needed for different audiences. As an architect for company learning successes, I have chaired committees focused on anticipating and establishing onboarding needs of new managers, interns, contractors, and employees. I have also served on Leadership committees, Non-Profit Boards focused on academic excellence in the community, and as a PMI certified PMP Instructor. I am passionate about the opportunities knowledge can unlock for others and I strive to make it accessible.
