About Robert James
My speciality area is pavements (asphalt, concrete and the soil underneath) but I\'ve worked in many areas of civil engineering to a lesser extent. I have worked in laboratories developing new equipment and protocol as well as on construction projects and construction materials testing. I consider myself an entrepreneurial engineer and enjoy interacting with people. The past several years I ran a business unrelated to engineering that dealt with sales and coaching. During this season I kept up with engineering by finishing my PhD and working on some charitable engineering endeavors. My company performs forensic investigations of buildings and construction. I have provided expert witness services for pavement related litigation.
