Approximately FOIA requests are CLOSED annually leveraging the capabilities and capacity of FOIAXpress (OPEXUS).· Evaluate FOIA-related staff levels to address fluctuations in the number of FOIAXpress professionals, as well as the complexity and volume of work. Staffing support has exceeded more than 24 FOIAXpress professionals encompassing a mixture of licensed attorneys, paralegals, and senior FOIAXpress Analysts.· Make strategic and intelligent case assignments to FOIAXpress Specialists based on trends and other similarities to build resident experts who are poised to process requests faster. Focus is on precluding potential FOIA litigation actions through timely and accurate FOIA processing.· Assess tools and resources for FOIA processing. Identify new technologies reducing search and processing times increasing efficiencies.
