ABOUT ROBERT-ISAAC RUEDA

I am an IT Support Technician at The Master’s University, specializing in network infrastructure, audiovisual systems, and cybersecurity. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Computing Systems from The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA. Additionally, I earned two Associate degrees from Los Angeles Mission College while simultaneously completing high school.In my current role, I handle a wide range of IT responsibilities, including network configuration, maintaining campus-wide network systems, and installing Wi-Fi systems in campus residences. I also perform structured cabling tasks such as pulling and terminating fiber optic and CAT cables, installing access points, and configuring network racks and switches.I am currently building and maintaining a home lab network as part of my preparation for the CompTIA Network+ certification. Through this hands-on environment, I am gaining practical experience with honeypots, monitoring servers, VLAN configuration, port forwarding, basic ethical hacking concepts, scripting, and Cloudflare services.Familiar with and have worked with Python for the past three years, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Wireshark, Git/GitHub, Linux/Linux Bash, and MySQL— gained through both coursework and self-directed learning. Currently preparing for the CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certification exams to further expand technical expertise.
