I truly believe that this company, this amazing group of individuals, truly care about the customer, and having fun while building your career!Excitement, that’s is best way to describe working at Bed Bath and Beyond. My first year with Bed Bath and Beyond I figured out how to use an outdated system to basically reinvent the wheel for the companies entire stock replenish program (which went live in 2011 and I believe it’s still in use to this day). Creativity, inspiration, and a strong desire to think outside the box is what I do on a daily basis. My nine years with Bed Bath and Beyond was amazing, I had fantastic leaders, and even better yet terrific employees. I was able to travel and open/remodel high volume stores, merchandise multiple stores, chase after products, teach/train employees/managers, regional/VP walks, and I would love to list everything.I worked for Goodwill of Central and Nothern Arizona as a Store Manager and a DMIT where I had the opportunity to oversee multiple stores. Goodwill is a fantastic non profit organization, a great company, and the retail thrift aspect is different than your traditional retailer. I worked through the Pandemic and had my first store three weeks before the shut down. I had the amazing opportunity to work with some truly talented Store Managers, District Managers, and Regional Managers durning my training periods. I truly believe that those years taught me a great deal on how I personally want to continue to develop my Management-leadership styles. “Positivity is key” & “ Control the Controllable’s”!
