About Robert Hovakimyan
I am Robert Hovakimyan, PhD in Control Systems. My career started in 2007 as a Systems Engineer at National Instruments, where I developed my skills in LabVIEW programming, Oil Field Automation, and Control Systems. A major project with Tatneft and Naftamatika in 2009 led me to create Ovak Technologies, which is now recognized by CSIA. As the Founder and CEO of Ovak Technologies, I\'ve combined my technical skills with strong leadership to specialize the company in automation and algorithm development for the oil and gas sector. Since 2016, we\'ve been focused on our partnership with WellWorx Energy, working on delivering custom solutions for the industry\'s unique needs. My approach mixes strategic planning with practical engineering, creating a culture of innovation and excellence in our team. Currently, as Vice President of Automation at WellWorx Energy, I manage the integration of advanced technologies like RedLion, and lead our team through complex projects. My background in mathematics and physics, along with a leadership style that encourages teamwork and forward-thinking, has been key in developing complex algorithms and enhancing our field expertise.
