I have 30 years of serving large, complex clients in a variety of industries, including insurance, manufacturing, health care, and hospitality. I have worked with public and private companies of all sizes, focusing on accounting and auditing services, merger and acquisition due diligence, public offerings, and risk consulting services. I served as the global lead client service partner for Berkshire Hathaway, one of the largest conglomerates in the world. Currently I am the lead client service partner for Mutual of Omaha, leading a large, diverse team.In addition to my client work, I serve as Deloitte’s US national managing partner for audit and assurance services, driving execution of Deloitte’s integrated strategy. This encompasses direct oversight of all regional managing partners and day-to-day talent operations, as well as operationalizing initiatives related to quality, client service, operations, innovation, and growth. I also am a member of the Audit Executive Committee.My experience with multibillion-dollar public companies has helped me develop strong skills in identifying, clarifying, and resolving complex accounting and reporting issues. I work closely with Deloitte’s national office and industry consultation networks and am well versed in technical accounting and reporting matters.Known as a hands-on, service-oriented partner, I interact effectively with professionals at all organizational levels and I believe I am highly respected by my clients and Deloitte colleagues. Through candid and direct communication, I build strong relationships with my team as well as with the management and boards of the clients I serve. My leadership roles allow me to be involved with many aspects of talent development, and I am focused on building high-performance teams and delivering audit quality.
